Mariah Cary, Miss Iowa, age 20 of Burlington, was one of the four judges who helped decide the winners of the 2nd Annual Little Miss Sparkler, Jr. Miss Firecracker and Mr. Firecracker Pageant in Oquawka this past Friday.
She spoke a few words to the audience and the 13 contestants ranging from 4 to 18 and it was very exciting to have her in Illinois for this event held on the Oquawka Museum stage.
The event included group dance, modeling a patriotic outfit, talent show, party dress and crowning for the girls. For the boys, they showed off their muscles.
