Meet Your Neighbor Mariah Wallace of Carman. Mariah is a recent high school graduate of the West Central Class of 2012.

Mariah is 18 and was born on March 7, 1994 in Burlington, Iowa.

Her parents are Tony and Melissa Wallace of Carman.

Her father Tony, is retired from CASE and spends his time working on the rental properties he owns in Burlington, Iowa.

Her mother Melissa, is employed by Walgreens in Burlington. She also works at Loads of Fun Laundry mat which the Wallace family owns.

Mariah has a twin sister Miranda, 18, and an older sister who is also named Melissa, who is 33.

Miranda, her twin, works at Carlos O' Kelleys in Burlington, while her oldest sister Melissa, lives in Janesville, Wisconsin and works as a Registered Nurse.

Mariah enjoys dancing, swimming, traveling, watching movies, hanging out with friends, listening to music, photography, and shopping!

Her best friend is Janee Seitz who lives in Gladstone.

In High School Mariah was involved in many activities such as: NHS (National Honor Society), FBLA ( Future Business Leaders of America), Dance Team, Spanish Club, Art Club, WYSE Team, and Math Team.

Mariah's future plans are to attend Eastern Illinois University where she will major in political science. After she obtains her degree at Eastern, she plans to continue her education by attending law school and go on to be a Corporate Attorney.

Some of her most memorable trips have been to Italy, Mexico, and to Costa Rica.

Costa Rica was her favorite vacation and she really fell in love with the culture and the people there. She says it was so beautiful and she plans on visiting it again this winter!
