Meet Your Neighbor Stacey Dutton of Kirkwood.
Stacey is employed by Western Illinois Title in Biggsville. Previously she was employed for 15 years at Crop Production in Galesburg.
Stacey was born in Burlington, Iowa and raised in the Kirkwood area.In 1977 she graduated from Yorkwood High School and continued her career at Monmouth College.
She and husband, Bill, have been married for 25 years. He is employed at Nichols Diesel Service in Galesburg.
Her parents are John and Mary Walters of rural Kirkwood.
Stacey is the proud mom of two sons, Adam (Veronica) Stuart of rural Monmouth and Alex Stuart of Monmouth.
She has 6 siblings. Kim (Terry) Carrier of rural Monmouth, Scott (Sherri) Walters of rural Biggsville, Carrie Walters of Texas, Mike (Tia) Walters of rural Kirkwood, Jim (Tamara) Slater of Monmouth and Cynthia (Kevin) Glissan of Larchland.
She is a member of the Kirkwood United Methodist Church.
Stacey is a certified Zumba instructor, loves to read and says, "One of my hobbies is remodeling which I plan and Bill does the work!"
Every 2 or 3 years they vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks and she also enjoys vacationing to California to see friends.
When asked what she enjoyed about her job she said, "I have learned a lot in real estate because it seems every day is something different. I work with great people and I love learning the history of the land in the area."
Stacey is also township supervisor for Tompkins Township.
