First State Bank of Illinois will hold its 25th annual Ag Strategies dinner-seminar at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th, 2011 in the First Baptist Church community room located just off the north-east corner of the square in Carthage.
The meal will be served at 6:30 with the program to follow.
Andy Bastert, Western Illinois Regional President will start the program with a quick review of the past 25 Ag Strategies Seminars.
He will also highlight First State's growth and progress during the past quarter century.
Farm Business Farm Management field man and farm management consultant Bob Rhea will unveil his annual "Top 10 Ag Strategies" for 2012 as he has done for many years.
Rhea will also review important tax code changes that could affect your farming operation.
Rik Roberts, a highly rated Nashville humorist, will present a comical keynote address - "Don't Barney Fife Your Way Through Life - The Mayberry Method."
Beginning in 1997, Rik started headlining at America's top comedy clubs. Nearly ten years later Rik has become a favorite at The Improv, The Punchline, Funny Bone, The Stardome, and Zanies, to name a few.
His message promises to be as insightful as it will be funny.
This will be the 25th consecutive year that First State Bank has hosted Ag Strategies.
Anyone with an interest in production agriculture is in invited to attend.
