Meet Your Neighbor

Meet your neighbor Chris Schwarz of Monmouth.

Chris has been the Junior High Science teacher at La Harpe Junior High and the Varsity Baseball Coach at Monmouth Roseville High School for the last 2 years. > He is the son of Tom and Connie Schwarz of Moline His dad Tom is a pipefitter and mom Connie is a nurse.

Chris was born on February 11th, 1987 in Moline and was raised there as well.

He graduated from Moline High School in 2005 and Monmouth College in 2009. He is currently going to school at Western Illinois University enrolled in Educational Leadership.

He has two brothers, Michael and Brandon. Michael is 17 and Brandon is 12 and they are both students in the Moline schools.

Chris married his wife Breanna on June 25th, 2011. Breanna is 24 and is from Crystal Lake. She is a Spanish teacher at Monmouth Roseville High School.

They have a Bulldog named Wally.

Chris' previous employment includes, child care worker, behavioral specialist at Arrowhead Ranch in Coal Valley and as a health inspector intern for the city of East Moline.

Chris' grandpa, Chuck Bray, lives in East Moline and is a retired Bass fisherman.

Chris' favorite vacation is his honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.

His hobbies include coaching, fishing and golfing.
