At the regular monthly meeting of Illini West High School Board September 28 the Chargers of the Month were announced for September 2011. They are Alec Miller and Abbey Douglas.
The budget for FY 2012 was discussed and approved.
Cynthia Smith was hired as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent.
Sandra Morrison and Deb Murphy were approved as Co-Key Club Sponsors.
MJ Palmer, LaRae Roth and Shari Shupe were approved as Student Council Sponsors and Deb Murphy was approved as a teacher mentor to three teachers.
The Intergovernmental Agreement with Carl Sandburg College for sharing a Technology Support Specialist was approved by the board. A number of Overnight Trip Requests were approved, including a Band and Chorus Trip to Chicago in June of 2013.
