La Harpe Summerfest will be August 10-14 this year with many of the favorite annual events returning along with new activities.
Commemorative Summerfest buttons are now available at First State in La Harpe and K&C Enterprises.
The 2011 button features the charter members of the La Harpe Lions Club as they celebrate their 40th year in La Harpe.
The Lions Club will be honored as Grand Marshals of the Summerfest parade and would like to invite all La Harpe Lions to the park Friday night for the Grand Marshal recognition and Saturday at 10:30 for the parade.
Purchasing a button for $5 includes entry in nightly drawings for door prizes and $50 La Harpe Gift Certificates.
Each gift certificate amount doubles to $100 if you are present at the time of the drawing.
Nightly drawings are held at intermission of each night's entertainment.
A 50/50 Drawing will be held each night. Proceeds from button sales and 50/50 go to Summerfest entertainment expenses.
