Meet Your Neighbor Zane Torrance of Biggsville.
He was born in Burlington, Iowa and raised in Gladstone and Biggsville.
He is getting ready to begin his junior year at West Central High School here shortly. While in school he has been active in basketball, up until last year and FFA and this year is also planning to participate in football and track.
When he graduates in 2013 he plans to attend a two year junior college and then transfer to Southern Illinois University for an additional two years. He is currently interested in earning his degree in Ag Business or Ag Science.
Outside of school, Zane works for T&J Baler and Torrance Brothers Farms. A reliable source tells me that he is a very hard working young man.
His parents are Mark and Leanne Torrance of Biggsville. He has one brother, Logan, who will be a freshman at West Central High School this year and one sister, Courtney, who will be in the 4th grade at West Central this year.
He attends the Gladstone Methodist Church.
In his spare time Zane enjoys just doing odds and ends stuff around the house and riding his 4-wheeler.
He has many fond memories of the traditional vacation him and his family always take to Lake of The Ozarks every year.
