The Henderson County Republicans have set this Saturday, October 9th as the Big Day to give voters in the area the chance to meet their candidates on the ballot before they vote.
There are four stops throughout Henderson County this Saturday at Lomax, Stronghurst, rural Biggsville, and Oquawka.
The BIG DAY begins at:
9:00-10:15 a.m. at The Pink in Lomax for a chance to ask your questions and to enjoy free freshments of donuts and coffee.
10:30-11:45 a.m. at the Stronghurst American Legion Hall and enjoy cookies and drinks.
12:00 noon-1:15 p.m. - Country Fun, Junction 34/94 rural Biggsville. Enjoy a 1 trip salad bar lunch for $5.25 tax & drink included.
1:30-2:45 p.m. - Oquawka Museum is the final stop.
If you are a voter in Illinois, come and meet the candidates. Bring family, neighbors and friends.
It's been a busy year, harvest is in full force, and along side the hard-workers of Illinois, candidates have been working hard too, to meet the residents and to find out your desires and needs.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Let's all be prepared and know who we are electing this year, to represent each of us.
