Dear Editor,
Hey Everyone,
March! Already? Jeepers.
These past few weeks have been crazy crazy. Week 6 I had Winter-camp with Rotary. We all met in Nesbyn and had a great time.
The last day ended with a bit of a scare....but you will just have to read about that in my blog.
Week 7 I had school again.
Week 8 we had Vinterferie...like a winter break. So, no school again. That was pretty amazing.
A few friends visited and we had a little lottery to try and make money for our EuroTour we will be going on in April for two weeks! Very excited for that.
I must give a special special thanks to my Raukvin Rotary club here for helping me out with part of the payments. They are so kind for sponsoring me.
At the end of Week 8 I took a train to Hamar and visited a friend from Texas who is staying there. We had a ton of fun snowboarding at Hafjell, which is where the Winter Olympics were held in 1994.
It was a tonnnnn of fun and I think I "mastered" the art of......standing up on a snowboard. Ha. I still don't think I am so great. I am at least able to get down a hill, but thats not so hard if you think about it. I got down....just probably not the way we were supposed to do it.
Skiing is more my thing. Both are terribly fun however so it is hard to choose a favorite. I have said it before, and I will say it again....time moves too quickly.
I always wanna cherish the moments that I find so amazing, but the clock keeps ticking. Think about it...only 4ish months left.
See you all soon,
Sara Marie Martin
