Meet Your Neighbor Sara Hull of Biggsville.

Sara has been the Director of Small World Children's Preschool for about a year.

She was born in Monmouth in 1984 and raised in the Biggsville community.

In 2002 she graduated from Union High School and continued her education at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa, receiving her associates degree in 2005. She then transferred to Western Illinois University in Macomb for two years pursuing an Early Childhood degree.

Her mother, Nancy, is a secretary for the principal at the West Central School District. Her father, Ed, lost his fight against cancer and passed away in 1996.

A sister, Amy (22) is employed at Staples in Burlington, Iowa.

Her grandparents are Erma Hull of Biggsville and Wilma Sloan of Kirkwood.

Sara is a deacon at the United Presbyterian Church in Biggsville.

She has helped with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for 13 years with the luminaries and wherever else she has been needed.

Her favorite thing is spending time with family and friends, shopping, and she loves collecting Willow Tree figurines.

She is a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the University of Illinois Fighting Illini.

When asked what she enjoyed most about her job at Small World in Stronghurst, she said, "I love spending time with the kids and the staff."
