Raritan Village Accepts Bid
Josh Painter submitted a bid to the Raritan Village Board for concrete work at the Raritan Park.
Estimates to do the job was $2800 for the new park bench, 1 grill area, 30 feet of concrete on the south side and 31 feet on the east side of the shelter house.
A motion was approved to hire Josh Painter for the job.
The President and Trustees of the Village of Raritan met in the meeting room of the Raritan Fire House July 8, with Trustees Blender, Waller, Powless, Magee, and Anders present.
Trustee Blender opened the meeting with prayer. A motion was made by Trustee Magee, seconded by Trustee Anders to approve the minutes as presented.
Bills presented were as follows: Waste Management $877.20; Dallas Rural Water $663.52; Murphy $90.00; Dennis Rankin $154.55; Jay Blender $600.00; R L O'Neal 99.53; Ameren IP $591.45; Thompson Insurance $225.00; Quill $13.11; Display Sales $285.00; WIRC $77.00; Phil Anders $226.99; Carlyn Anders $55.00; Gary Powless $80.00. A motion was made and approved to pay the bills.
It was reported that the new flags had arrived.
The meeting was adjourned until the next regular meeting.
