Meet your neighbor Jerry Green, the son of the late Ivan and Harriet Green.
He was raised in Burnside, with his three siblings and grew up in a small town near his cousins and grandparents.
He graduated from Carthage High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Robert Morris College.
Green is now married to his wife Laurie and has two children, Wyatt and Myra. He currently works with farming and construction.
He previously was an employee of Chem. Gro for fifteen years and has been farming for thirty-seven years.
He is affiliated with the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, and Shriners.
He is also a part of the Illini West School board.
Green enjoys hunting and watching Nascar and football.
Green enjoyed being a part of his son's high school football career as he was a part of a three-time state champion team.
He also plays a big part in supporting Illini West High School and says he is "So pleased with the success of the convergence and how the students have come together, thanks to the hard work of the entire staff and the support of the parents."
