Bio-diesel Meeting Well Attended
The La Harpe City Council met for their regular meeting February 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
All Aldermen were present: Todd Irish, Brian Lovell, Marcia Stiller, Michael Bennett, Vicki Burford, Darrell Kraft, Treasurer-Marcia Neff, City Clerk-Lucretia McPeak, and Mayor-Kenneth Brown.
Also present w was Doug Endress.
Motions were made and carried to approve and accept the treasurer's report, and to pay all bills.
Mayor Brown reported updating the community profile, and there was a good attendance at the Bio-diesel meeting on the 18th of around thirty.
He also stated there was an IDOT grant available for the city.
A motion was made and passed to use Motor Fuel Tax funds for preliminary engineering for turning lanes and access roads.
Kraft recognized and complimented the city crew for cleaning out the entrances to the cemetery for funerals.
Regular meeting adjourned at 7:39 p.m.
The next scheduled regular council meeting will be March 8, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
