Fun and laughter, family and community combined with good weather made another successful Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 3rd in Stronghurst Village Park.
The exciting event is annually sponsored by the Bank of Stronghurst and the Stronghurst Lions Club prior to Easter Sunday at the Stronghurst park.
Children are never late for this event, and at 1:00 p.m. around 150 children eagerly were scattered around the park, waiting to hunt eggs.
In addition to the 1500+ colorful eggs with prizes inside, the children found bubbles, sunglasses, candy, animal crackers and pinwheels.
Each child present received a colorful inflatable bunny.
One lucky winner in each of the four age groups won a large stuffed bunny.
It was a beautiful day and many who helped sponsor this event and parents, enjoyed visiting in the park while children enjoyed playing on the wonderful facilities after the egg hunt.
Lions members and Bank of Stronghurst staff said, "We look forward to seeing everyone next year."
