"Tis the week of Christmas and all thru the house, I have visions of grandchildren filling the couch.
Their stockings are all hung on the tree this year, because the fireplace is too small for all nineteen to appear.
The house is all cleaned, the food is all bought, the noodles are sitting, and the broth getting hot.
Two days of good shopping, then gifts can be wrapped to tuck in Santa's sleigh before he takes off.
Now, Matthew, and Autumn, Drew and Ali we'll see, with Caleb, Josh, Nathan and Emalee. There's Gracie, Lydia, Levi and Juda, Carly, Sydney, and big sister Noah. Sisters Hannah, Halee, and Hattie make three, and their brother Hayden will cuddle up by me.
But out on the lawn what should appear, but way too much snow to let them come here.
Sadly I'll miss them, but will make plans for the summer, to celebrate Christ's birthday in much warmer weather.
