Back to School

I'm sure parents can't believe summer is over and it is time for school to start again.

Teachers have been preparing and today is the first day of school for the littlest in elementary and the final year for those who are seniors.

It seems like that time was the best time and went by so slowly and now I realized how much of an opportunity school was. If only we knew what a privilege it is to be able to have teachers help us learn and grow and achieve.

My hope for each of the students in our schools is that you begin with respect for the teachers you have and look at them as your friends.

All too soon you will be an adult and if you listen up at school, those teachers will give you the secrets to success in your life.

It takes someone special to have the patience and abilities to teach young people, and like good parents, you sometimes have to inflict some tough orders to accomplish success.

The easy teachers are not always the ones you will learn from, so respect those who actually expect you to work.

The harder you work now, the more you will achieve later. I hope students vow to do their best in this short time they have in elementary and high school. Soon you will be picking your profession. Best of luck this school year.
