John and Leila Link along with Sam and Alice Burrell traveled to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia where they stayed at the "Second Wind Retreat." The Retreat is a beautiful home in the mountain valley, overlooking Chattahoochee National Forest, where cancer patients, recent survivors and caregivers are welcome to spend some time relaxing.
Alice, Leila's sister-in-law, has been a cancer patient this year. It was wonderful to experience the beautiful surroundings of the area as well as getting the opportunity to meet such caring people who have made this their dream. The "Second Wind Retreat" operates strictly through donations.
When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it, then send it to us. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
