Meet your neighbor Jerry Brown born in Fairfield, Illinois where he lived until he was fourteen.
He is the son of Lee and Margaret Brown. He and his three brothers were raised on a farm in Fairfield then when he was fourteen they moved to Augusta for three years and then moved to La Harpe in 1975.
He graduated from La Harpe High School in 1976 and immediately started working for La Harpe Auto Body. He is now married to his wife, Pam, and has two children, Jeremy (26) and Marissa (21).
Brown currently works at La Harpe Auto Body and has for a total of nearly twenty-four years. He previously has worked in Burlington, IA and Ft. Madison, IA at Chevy Dealerships.
He is also the fire chief in La Harpe and works for the ambulance as a first responder.
Brown enjoys fishing, hunting, and also spending time with his family. He and his family have a couple of horses and work on their house in their spare time.
His most memorable times in his life are the day he got married, and the births of each of his children.
He is very happy to live where he does and says, "I can't think of any place I would rather live than La Harpe."
