The Wisdom Of Barnyard Bruke: "You Don't Know the Worth of Water" Til the Well Runs Dry"

Greetings to everyone in Western Illinois. I'm a hop'n all survived the bitter cold of this past week, without too many pipes freez'n up or vehicles that wouldn't start.

Think of how bad it would have been if'n we wouldn't have had global warm'n to help the thermometer out.

It is said that the ice pack in the North Pole has grown more in the last 90 days than ever before in recorded history.

Now, I don't know for sure if'n that is documented true or not, but, if'n it is true I guess Al Gore will have to make a new movie and those sailboats a head'n north might have to change their route.

If'n it's not true, then I guess we'll have to put it in the same categories as some of the sensational stories NBC news has been tell'n on Bush being guilty for each and every sin melody known to mankind, for the last eight years.

They've sure got a biased bone to pick on Bush, even to the point of destroying their own reporting credibility.

These ultra liberals, such as NBC, are absolutely "giddy" over the outcome of the elections.

You don't have to watch the news very long on T.V. to notice the media's inaugural frenzy. The liberal press proclaims an end of an era, for conservative politics.

They are quite proud and willing to openly take credit for the part they played in the change they feel will now take place.

My mind wonders, a bit, as the liberal press brags on their political accomplishments. Have they forgotten the "Blue Dog Democrats", or do they feel they have now weeded them out of the equation now that the liberals have received the conservative and moderate votes of the Blue Dogs.

And, I've not heard one word about the native Americans. They lost a lot in this "building of America" and many are still liv'n on reservations.

I encountered a taxi driver from Sudan recently. He came from a family of 17 children. His father and brother had been macheteed to death by Muslin extremists. He came to the U.S. to escape religious persecution.

The British controlled Sudan for a long time with the Egyptians, as a protectorate, from 1899 to 1924, at which time a mutiny by Egyptian troops caused most Egyptian officials to be expelled. The notion of Sudan became independent in 1956.

At that time, Egypt influenced the North of Sudan, according to the taxi driver named "Ngong Aguck" to increase the Muslim population.

Agong stated, "before they became so numerous, the Muslims were good to get along with. After they became numerous, they became very difficult to live beside. Hence, came Civil War, much death to the Christians, including his family.

Ngong stated, "I hear people complain of mistreatment of blacks in the U.S. As for him he has not see it, but in Sudan, as a Christian, it was common and frequent on a daily basis."

He openly proclaimed how proud he was to live in the U.S. and tells that to whomever will listen.

Along that line, atheists like Michael Newdow, along with radical secularists within the NCLU, are hop'n to utilize left-wing judges to strip "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. Also, they are work'n on lawsuits to erase "In God We Trust" from the U.S. currency and from license plates in states like Indiana.

And, then we have those liberal celebrities to honor for the role they played in influencing American voters.

This is fairly obvious, in the credit given them by the upcoming administration by the role they played in the inaugeration festivities.

It almost seems, oft times some folk elevate them to the point of worship.

Myself, I agrees with ole Cornelius who says, "The whole parcel of them, (liberal celebrities), ain't worth as much as a pinch of sour owl manure".

As for chas'n God out of our schools, the public square, and what not, it seems, "You don't know the worth of water "til th' well runs dry".

I'm a think'n it would be hard to tell those 150 passengers on Flight 1549, that landed in the Hudson River, that there is no God and that miracles can no longer happen.

As for myself, I'm a hop'n our new president will rise to the occasion and point our country in the right direction. He can only do that with the cooperation of everyone.

And, "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15), and pray for our government and its leaders'"(I Timothy 2:2) and, all people including liberal celebrities, radical secularists, and atheists.

I'm a prayin' that God will have His will in all of our lives and as well as our country.

I'm a hopin' people of all faiths and denominations will be inclined to be diligent to do likewise.

Catch ya later,

Barnyard Bruke
