The La Harpe City Council met for their regular meeting February 9, 2009 at 7:00 pm.
All Aldermen were present. Motions were made and approved to accept the January minutes and treasurers report and pay bills.
Also present were: Dan Gillett, Darrell Kraft, Tim Graves, Daniel Carpenter, Willo Shutwell, Justin Livingston, Eric Moe, George Russell, John Louden, Roger Hughes, Marcia Stiller, and Doug Endres.
Eric Moe discussed the Economic Stimulus projects we might be eligible for. Communities need to be ready to proceed to get a better chance at the grants.
Motions were made and carried to purchase a Chevy 2006 work truck for the city, and to approve the hunting bid leases, and to approve the ESDA salaries, and to approve the City Farm report, and pass Resolution 2009-B.
Personnel Policy Committee met And approved the new Personnel policy.
Fred Gibb Car Show is August 1st.
Summerfest is August 19 - 22.
Bio-diesel representatives will be at the next meeting at 6:30 pm.
