All Aldermen were present for the January 26 La Harpe City Council meeting which began at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall next to the post office.
Also present were: Dan Gillett, Darrell Kraft, Tim Graves, Tom Wright, Marcia Stiller,Ê and Doug Endres.
The Council discussed the Hunting lease renewals which are up, and there will be a meeting at Attorney Richard Rasmussen's office on Wednesday, February 4th , at 4:30 p.m.
Pastor Tom Wright of the Methodist Churches was present to inform the council of a Bio-diesel plant searching for partnership communities to develop in.
After a vote, Willo Shutwell was approved as the new ESDA Director, and Daniel Carpenter as the Assistant director, and Resolution 2009-A was passed ( a natural hazard mitigation plan).
It was announced that Eric Moe will be at the next meeting to discuss projects for new grant money.
The City Council went into Executive session at 8:01 p.m. and then the regular meeting resumed twenty-five mintues later at 8:26 p.m.
No action was taken and the Council members voted to adjourn the regular meeting at 8:27 p.m.
