Meet Your Neighbor

Meet your neighbor David Miller Jr., born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri (hometown of Rush Limbaugh).

He was raised with his three siblings in Anna, IL the son of David and Christine Miller. He said when he was raised, "my grandparents taught me everything I know:except math."

Miller graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in 1996 and from Murray State University in 2001.

He is now married to his wife Amy and they are expecting their first child around March 6th.

He is currently the math teacher at Illini West High School. When asked for his work title, Miller replied, "Not sure:some people call me:Dr. Math." And when asked what his job requires he replied, "I add 5 to both sides."

He has had many previous jobs, the most interesting being a job cleaning toilets. He is involved in Strife Gaming and Coasterbuzz Club. He is a huge sports fan and often ties sports into the way he teaches.

Miller says the most memorable moment in his life was, "being part of the 1995 Jets State Championship team.

He also quoted, "Mathematics is not a spectator sport." Miller is well-known byÊ his students for his interesting and unique personality and ways of teaching.
