Meet Your Neighbor Kelsey Guile. She and husband David, have been married one year and live in Biggsville.
She is employed at the Eagle View Community Health office in Stronghurst as a dental hygienist for Dr. Andrew Olson.
Kelsey drives into Stronghurst about 6:30 a.m. when the clinic opens, and she says, "There are not many lights on in town at that time of the morning...besides FS and the Cafe. Most everything else is dark."
She was born in Burlington, Iowa and raised in Stronghurst.
Upon graduation from Southern in 2004, Kelsey attended Carl Sandburg College and in 2006 received an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Dental Hygiene.
Kelsey's parents are Chuck and Kathy Cargill of Stronghurst. Chuck is retired and Kathy is an LPN at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab.
She has one sister, Ashlie, who is engaged to marry Ryan Heitz of Vermont, in June of this year. Ashli is a dental hygienist in Macomb; one brother, Garrett (Jacki) that live in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Garrett is employed by the Henry County Police Department and Jacki is a radiology technician at OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth.
In her spare time Kelsey takes Wilton cake decorating classes at Stoermer's in Burlington, Iowa.
When asked if she was making the wedding cake for Ashli she answered, "I'm not quite ready to do a wedding cake, but I am making the cakes for her bridal shower."
Ashley is also involved in a book club that Dr. Olson's wife has.
She also enjoys playing video games with David on the Wii, X-Box and Guitar Hero,
At the present she is very busy helping plan the wedding of her sister, Ashli, and her future sister-in-law, Robin.
She and David have a white lab named Zoey that is a year old.
They attend Bethel Lutheran Church in Burlington, Iowa.
