Awards City Mowing Contracts
Mayor Kenny Brown called the La Harpe City Council to order for their regular meeting December 14, 2009 at 6:59 p.m.
Motions were made and carried to have the older police car repaired, and to award the city park mowing contract to Tim Graves, and the cemetery mowing contract to Linda Johnson. These are both 2 year contracts.
There will be meetings for the Bio-NRG plant on December 17th and 18th, at the Annex in La Harpe at 7:00 p.m., each night. These meetings are informative meetings for potential investors in Bio-NRG.
The Girl Scout troops did a wonderful job decorating the La Harpe City Park with Christmas lights.
There will not be a second City Council meeting in December, due to the Christmas holiday.
Regular meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
All Aldermen were present: Todd Irish, Brian Lovell, Marcia Stiller, Michael Bennett, Vicki Burford, Darrell Kraft, Treasurer-Marcia Neff, City Clerk-Lucretia McPeak, and Mayor-Kenneth Brown.
Also present were: Richard Rasmussen, Justin Livingston, Wayne Humphrey, Roger Hughes, Tim Graves, Dan Gillett, and Doug Endress.
The next scheduled regular council meeting will be January 11, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
