Meet your neighbor Beth Carson born in Macomb and raised in Blandinsville. She was raised by her father, Dave Wilson, with the help of her grandmother.
Carson loved growing up in a small town. She graduated from Northwestern High School and from college at Western Illinois University.
She is now married to her husband Tyler Carson and they have two children, Lauren (4), and Reid (1).
Carson is a stay at home mom and her husband is a farmer. She previously was a Legal Advocate for Victim Services in Macomb. She quit her job so she would be able to stay at home with her children. She enjoys scrapbook-ing, reading, boating and watching reality TV shows in her spare time.
She is active in a few online groups such as "What are you reading?" and "Northwestern High School Alumni". She and her family attend and are members of the Union Church of La Harpe.
When asked for a memorable occasion in her life she replied, "Life is a memorable occasion!" She writes down the funny things her kids say and do, "So I can remember them always." She is very happy to be able to raise her children in a small town.
Some of Carson's favorite quotes are ones by John Lennon, "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans," and one by Martin Luther King Jr., "Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."
