The La Harpe City Council met for their regular meeting April 27, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
All Aldermen were present, except Bennett, and Mayor Brown.
Motions were made to approve andĘ accept the treasurers report and pay bills.
Also present were: Dan Gillett, Darrell Kraft, Marcia Stiller, Athena Brooks, and Doug Endres.
Motions were made and carried to purchase a Thornless Hedge tree, and to pay the difference in the price increase for the two park benches for the city park, and to clear North B street for the nursing home festivities on May 15th, and to waive the 2nd reading of Ordinance #2009-1.
April 30th ends the city fiscal year.
Jackson Disposal informed the city of the recycling totals: Jan.- 3.58 tons, Feb.- 2.38 tons, and March- 2.91 tons.
Regular meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
