Before West Central High School's Prom began Saturday evening, March 28th, at Burlington's Memorial Auditorium, students had the opportunity to show off their formal wear for the community.
Promenade (the formal introduction of prom attendees before a community audience) has become a popular event as many parents, relatives, and other interested individuals show up to see students dressed in their prom outfits.
Open to the public free of charge, Promenade was one additional highlight of an evening of happy memories for those students participating in this annual springtime event.
Jimmy Jacob of Stronghurst was crowned Mr. Congeniality at West Central's 2009 Jr.-Senior Prom.
