Meet your La Harpe neighbor - Janet Johnson. Janet was born and grew up within the area of LaHarpe including in the township of Dallas and Durham. She is 65 years old and currently works for West Central FS, Inc. in LaHarpe as an Administrative Assistant.
She is retiring after 35 years of service with WCFS, Inc. on March 14th.
Janet resides 6 miles west of LaHarpe in the Durham Township with her husband of 37 years, Larry Johnson, a retired farmer. They have two kids:Ê Bradley Johnson who is married to Tammy and resides in Monmouth. Bradley works for Painter Farm Equipment as a Parts Man. They have 2 children (Amanda, age 25 and Austin, age 21). Amanda is married to Jake Kreps. Their other son, Bill Johnson, resides with them in Durham and works for Medicall in Macomb, Illinois.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading Christian books, putting together jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and cross-stitching. She loves attending family gatherings., her favorite is the "Cousin's Dinner', where 8 or 9 cousins from the LaHarpe area try to gather monthly. She and her husband are active members of the Durham United Methodist Church.
