Not On Loan
Dear Editor,
A few weeks ago someone up rooted our flowers and took our stone/ steps.
They are not part of the Interlibrary Loan System and we would like to have them returned.
The flowers were a gift and the stone/ steps were a part of the La Harpe Library's History, they were a part of the original steps that lead up to the doors of the library. They were over 100 years old.
We had talked about planting flowers around them this year to make a memorial.
We hope that who ever took our flowers and 100 plus year old stones/steps enjoys them. Maybe you didn't know that the stones and flowers were a part of the Library's property?
If the person who took them feels any remorse we would hope that MAYBE you will return them.
