"The Quill" traveled with MK1 Keith R. Hurt, husband of Joann Hurt (Spiker) and son of Gale and Nina Hurt of Oquawka, as he is enjoying a little "off" time in civilian clothes. Hurt is presently stationed in Bahrain, with the U.S. Coast Guard, two miles from the Saudi Arabian border. "The Quill" is just one of many little treasures he finds in his care packages from friends every two weeks.
