Meet your neighbor Danny Link of La Harpe, born August 6, 1956 to Robert and Georgia Link at La Harpe. He is from a family of six and now lives on a little farm outside of La Harpe.
Danny attended grade school at Durham and Terre Haute and graduated from La Harpe High School in 1974.
He went into farming and retired after twelve years, in 1986. Presently, he is employed by NTN Bowers in Macomb, where he has worked for 20 years. He also operated his own part-time business for 22 years, "Link Painting."
In March 29, 1981 Danny married Rebecca Renshaw. They have three children Erin Link, 24 who is attending Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa; Adam Link, 22 whom has graduated from Western IL University with a degree in Education History and a minor in Math and presently is a substitute teacher; and Sarah Link, 18 who attends Illini West at Carthage. The one remaining family member is Abby, age 4, a little Maltese house dog.
