The La Harpe City Council met for their regular meeting February 11,Ê 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
All Aldermen were present. Motions were made and approved to accept the treasurer's report and pay bills.
Also present were: Dan Gillett, Darryl Kraft, Justin Livingston, Erik Krekel, Wayne Humphrey, Roger Hughes, Richard Rasmussen, Jaimie Hallowell, Steve Jones, Ryan Johnson, Ashley Peterson, Evan Sheckler, and Ronni Sheckler.
The first readings of the revised "Ordinance's" #2008-1, and #2008-2 were read. These apply to the hours and fees of the city's liquor licenses.
Anyone with an opinion or concern is encouraged to attend a City council meeting.
There will be a 5K/10K run on Saturday, April 12th .
The Mayor expressed his concern of the deterioration of the City signs on the edge of town. Anyone with any knowledge on how to fix these, please contact the Mayor.
