Meet your neighbor Megan Irwin
Megan is a new staff member at West Central School District and teaches 9th through 12th grade math. Megan is also a freshman class sponsor.
She was born in Springfield but moved to Aledo at the age of 2. She currently lives in rural New Boston.
Megan graduated in 2003 from Aledo High School which is the home of the Green Dragon football team.
She received her bachelor's degree in 2007 from Jacksonville College in Jacksonville.
Her parents are Tracy and Doug Irwin. Doug is a truck driver for Roehl Trucking and mom Tracy is a secretary at Blick and Blick Oil in Aledo.
Megan has two younger sisters, Rachel (15) a sophomore and Shelby (11) in the 6th grade and one younger brother Seth (7) a first grader. All in the Aledo school system.
Megan enjoys spending time with her family, Rick her dog (Drake) and cat (Boss).
She is engaged to Rick Martin who lives in rural New Boston and is employed as a machinist at Roth Pump in Milan.
She is presently involved in planning her wedding to Rich, which is scheduled for September 12, 2009, at the Baptist Church in Aledo.
Megan enjoys crocheting and does some occasional reading.
