Robert John Bruns, born to Bob and Cindy (Siegworth) Bruns May 1st, 1988 at Mc Donough District Hospital in Macomb. He is a 2006 graduate of La Harpe High School, a letter-winner in football and baseball in which he participated in throughout his four-year tenure at LHS. He also played basketball for three years. John moved to Charleston to attend Eastern Illinois University like his sister, Lydia. Sports drives John's hobbies, as well as his potential career.
John religiously follows the St. Louis Cardinals and was able to take advantage of his summer living situation with his sister in a town near St. Louis, watching several Cards games after a day's work for Affina, a customer relations office for Monsanto.
Throughout the course of the school year, John participates in intramural sports, works at a local Cracker Barrel, and is working on completing his Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration. Once John completes his Bachelor's Degree, he has plans to seek out a position somewhere as a Stadium Operations Director.
