I want to commend La Harpe's Mayor Kenny Brown for annually recognizing those in their community who have given outstanding service to their city.
It was especially nice this week, to visit with Dean Moore who has lead the La Harpe Ambulance Service for 25 years as its president and to hear of his love for what he has done and continues to do to serve the people of La Harpe.
La Harpe is fortunate in so many ways and can be a good example to other communities throughout the world on the value of leaders that do what they ask others to do, and truly served their communities.
It is hoped that some day, like Dean Moore and so many others who have been rightly recognized, that Mayor Ken Brown is given his due recognition for all the many acts he has done for La Harpe.
