"Illini West", A Good Name

District 307 board members of the newly converged La Harpe-Dallas City-Carthage school district have selected a good Illinois name for its high school-Illini West. This week's selection of school colors and the mascot by students will be interesting. I'm wondering if they will combine the blueboys blue/white, the Eagles purple/gold, and the Bulldogs black/red or if they will just pick orange or something completely different. Will they be called the Blue Eagle Dogs or will we have another Illini team? We'll soon know.
