The Quill traveled with Bill Brown of Carman and his son, Shelden Brown of Collinsville, OK to Chandler, AZ. April 20-21. While there, they attended the 2007 Subway Fresh Fit 500 NASCAR race at the International Speedway in Phoenix (Avondale) and witnessed Jeff Gordon's 76th win which tied him with the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr.. It was Gordon's first ever win at Phoenix.
The Quill traveled with Pastor Jim and Carol Olsen, Stronghurst, to St. Paul, MN on May 2, 2007. Pastor Olsen was celebrating this 50th Anniversary of Ordination and Graduation at Luther Seminary. While there they enjoyed visiting with former students and faculty.
