Raritan Township: At one time the township had a Swedish Evangelical Church but it did not continue.
The Roman Catholic Church is known as St. Patrick's Chapel and is located in the northeast part of the township.
The congregation was organized in 1855 and the church itself built in 1876 at an expense of $2,100.
This church organization is still in existence.
