Meet your neighbor Denise (Neff) Brown, a graduate of La Harpe High School. After graduating high school, Denise attended Culver Stockton for one year, and then transferred to Robert Morris College, where she received her medical assistant degree. Denise has been working at La Harpe High School for 12 years as a paraprofessional. Next year she will be employed at Illini West High School. She helped coach junior high volleyball for about ten years and high school volleyball for three years. She enjoys getting to know the girls. Her two kids are Ben, who is 23, and Hannah, who is 18. Hannah is in the last class of LHS and was selected as DAR Good Citizen recepient and will be attending Illinois State University next year. ΚΚΚ Some of Denise's hobbies include: shopping, working in her yard, and walking. She also loves her job. Denise attends the Union Church in La Harpe. She has enjoyed watching her kids grow up in a small town and seeing all that they have accomplished. Both of her children were the homecoming king and queen of their classes. Denise also is a Chicago Cubs, a Chicago Bears, and a Fighting Illini fan. |
