Meet Your Neighbor Peggy Bundy of La Harpe.
Peggy was born in the La Harpe Hospital and has lived here most of her life. Besides La Harpe, she has lived in Peoria and Florida.
She is a 1977 graduate of La Harpe High School.
Peggy has three children: Amanda, 26, Brent, 23, and Ciji who is 16 and a sophomore at LHS. She also has four grandchildren.
Peggy works in the La Harpe Preschool room as a one-on-one aide. Previously she has worked at Methode, Casey's, and various restaurants.
In her spare time Peggy enjoys camping, swimming, and riding Harleys. Peggy says the most beautiful place she has traveled was to Sturgis, South Dakota for a bike rally.
A memory that stands out in her mind is the time when she and her friends tried to fit as many people as they could in Kate Gleason's orange Volkswagen beetle. They managed to fit 17 people in the car.
