Meet Your Neighbor Donna Robbins from Oquawka.
Donna has been employed by Stanton Insurance Agency in Oquawka for 15 years where she is an ISR (Insurance Service Representative).
She was born in Rock Island and raised in the Little York and Oquawka areas.
Donna graduated from Union High School near Biggsville.
She is married to Frank and they are the proud parents of two sons, Andy, who lives in Media and works for the Department of Natural Resources, and Eric, of Oquawka, who is employed by Brockway Company in Burlington, Iowa.
Her mother, Jean Dickens, resides in Aledo.
Donna has lived in the Village of Oquawka for over 30 years. She enjoys working with stained glass (panes and windows), homemade lamp work, glass beads, glass kiln fusing to do glass, and creating jewelry. Her studio, where she shapes her talents, is located at her home.
She helped organize last year's Garden Walk in Oquawka and also was instrumental in helping organize the Christmas parade.
