On Their Way to State
La Harpe's 7th Grade Girls Volleyball team was on their way to the state Volleyball Championship game iin the above photo.
After winning Saturday, the girls were escorted back into town by the La Harpe police and La Harpe fire departments.
Tagging along to the game to support the La Harpe team were several boys from the La Harpe Junior High. They were all dressed up in their Eagle attire and ready to cheer the girls on.
The championship game was Tuesday night at Pawnee where the girls played two of their toughest matches againt Lincoln-Chester, losing in two games but bringing up a 2nd Place State Title.
The 8th grade girls also won a trip to state and are competing in the first rounds of the state tournament this Saturday.
