La Harpe City Council

The La Harpe City Council met for their regular meeting June 11, 2007, at 7:00 pm.

All Aldermen were present. Motions were made and approved to accept the May minutes and the treasureres report.

The intersection project will start with the bidding in November, and will proceed in the spring of 2008.

Motions were made and carried to accept the Vacating Alley Ordinance and the Prevailing Wage Ordinance.

Mayor Brown reported 10 of the 25 applicants will be accepted for the WIRC home improvement grant, but all will be notified in approximately three weeks.

There will be a committee meeting to update and revise the Nuisance and Abandoned Vehicle Ordinances.

The Council approved funding for the "Looking for Lincoln" text rail and that it may be displayed in the city park.

Meeting adjourned at 8:05 pm.
