Meet your neighbor, Madison Beals who is a 2006 graduate of La Harpe High School.
Madison is the daughter of Kevin and Sherry Beals. She has 2 brothers, Mitchell (15) and Mason (14).
She says, "Without my brothers life would be very boring."
She is the granddaughter of Bill and Vieva Pence, and Bill and Patsy Housewright and the late Dean Beals.
In high school she was a member of the volleyball team for four years, being a captain her senior year. She was also active in Student Council, Yearbook staff, NHS, and was voted homecoming queen.
Madison received the DAR Award at graduation and was a recipient of the C. Dannen Latherow Scholarship. She is now attending Western Illinois University where she plans to major in Speech Pathology and graduate in 2012 with a Master's degree.
In her spare time she likes to hang out with her friends, read Nicholas Sparks books, scrapbook, and shop.
In February she is flying out to California to see her boyfriend of six years, Kevin Mershon, graduate from Basic Training.
