Justin Allaman Completes Rozetta - Eagle Scout Project

BUILDING CHARACTER

The trustees of the Rozetta Cemetery and the people of the Rozetta community would like to express their gratitude to Justin Allaman upon completion of his Eagle Scout community project.

Eagle Scout candidates are responsible for all aspects of a community project including securing permission, planning, funding and executing the plan.

Justin presented his plan and design to the cemetery trustees and permission was quickly granted.

Justin communicated with approximately ninety people seeking donations toward the cost of materials. Response was enthusiastic and generous.

The construction phase of the project involved many participants, including expert stonemason Mike West. The engraving was done by McFall Monument Company of Galesburg. The total cost of the project was $2,774.27.

The completion of this beautiful project displayed Justin's initiative, character, and community spirit. Justin, a student of West Central High School, is the son of Bill and Mary Allaman of the Rozetta area.
