Meet Your Neighbor Keely Sparrow, born October 1, 1987 to John and Pam Sparrow.
Keely attended school in La Harpe and is a 2006 La Harpe High graduate.
During high school she was a member of the volleyball team for three years and art all four. She placed a few of her pieces in a show and received a second place and honorable mention for them.
She was also on the Prom Court her senior year. She is now attending Spoon River College with a major of Administrative Office Technology and plans to graduate in 2008.
She is currently employed at the La Harpe Carnegie Library. She will have been there two years this coming August.
Keely says that the most rewarding part of her job is "meeting new people and getting to interact with people of the community everyday".
In her free time she likes to read, watch reality TV (Biggest Loser being her favorite), spend time with her nephew, Reagen, who is 16 months, play board games, and has done some traveling.
She went white water rafting in West Virginia but doesn't think she will try that again. She had the unfortunate experience of having her raft flip over.
She is planning a trip to Arizona during spring break to visit her parents.
She has one sister, Meghan (Rusty) VanNiewaal and one brother, Seth
