Meet Your Neighbor Lisa Brokaw of rural Biggsville.
She was born in Monmouth, raised in Plano and moved back to the Biggsville area in 1986.
Lisa graduated from Plano High School in 1977.
She is married to David and they enjoy the time they spend together farming.
They have one daughter, Brooke Priesman, who teaches music in Fairfield, Iowa, and three sons, Brandon Priesman, who works at Painter Farm Equipment in Monmouth and his new bride, Ashley, who live at rural Gladstone and Tyler (17) and Garrett (13) whom Lisa home schools.
She enjoys reading, walking and going on family bike rides.
David, Brandon and Lisa spent 2 days biking the MS 150, two years ago, from Yorkville to DeKalb.
She also plays choir chimes at the Biggsville United Presbyterian Church.
Two or three times a year their family goes snowshoeing in the winter in Colorado and hiking on their summer trips to Colorado.
