Veterans' Day - Precedes Thanksgiving Day

How appropriate it is that Thanksgiving Day comes right on the heels of Veterans Day when we take time to honor our many service men and women who serve this fabulous country.

It is true, we do not notice what a wonderful privilege it is to live in a democracy until you lose it or go somewhere and see the oppression in another country.

Our veterans have always been the key factor in protecting our freedom and I hope you will take time to thank the veterans in your midst.

A good idea would be to send a soldier a letter, or a care package, or send a donation to the American Legion with a thank you card.

That is a good way to say thank you to many in your midst who have done so much for our United States. Our ability to vote Tuesday was a privilege we should thank our veterans for.
