Where has the time gone?

It is hard to believe that so much has been accomplished this school year with West Central's first school year coming to an end. Junior and Seniors successfully had their first Prom and exhibited a very classy and romantic atmosphere in which to exhibit their prom attire to the community during an afternoon Promenade Saturday.

Handsome young men and beautiful young ladies graced the floor of the north campus gymnasium with over six hundred on the bleachers for the viewing of exquisite gowns and tuxedos. "Where did so many different gowns come from?" One father said they had purchased their daughter's gown way back in October and of the 74 gowns at the Promenade, I didn't see any two alike.

I can not remember seeing so many beautiful hairdos, evening gowns, and smiling faces at an event before.

The seniors are now heading into graduation with yet another challenge as the largest class enrolled at West Central. "Where will they put everyone?" has been the question. I know it will turn out to be one of the most exciting events yet as they have plans for an outdoor ceremony on the football field. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
